Grade 2

        Modified judging criteria
        3 pieces (nominated in advance)
        Individual apparatus medals

Team Championships

        Event decided on Grade 2 Individual Championships
        Grade 1 competitors wishing to register scores for the team must compete a second time at grade 2 (grade 1 competitors competing in grade 2 for the team event will not be eligible for individual grade 2 awards)
        Championship - scores of individuals placed 1 to 4 to count
        Trophy - scores of individuals placed 5 to 8 to count

How the new scoring system works!

Vault

Difficulty value (DV) + Execution score (EV) = Final score

   DV = vault tariff
   EV = execution, composition & artistry deductions taken from 10.00
   Best of 2 vaults

Bars, Beam & Floor

A Score (DV + EGR) + Execution score = Final score

   DV = 
           Bars & floor = sum of highest 9 elements plus dismount
           Beam = sum of 8 highest elements plus spin and dismount
           Un-coded but allowed elements (to follow) = 0.1
           FIG code of points ‘A’ elements = 0.3
           FIG code of points ‘B’ elements = 0.5
   EGR = Element group requirements valued at 0.5 each (except dismount)
